Employment Type: Full- time
About Us
MOI Agencies is a high-performing FMCG distributor with over 25 years of success bringing some of the world’s most loved brands to New Zealand shelves.

We’re more than a distributor — we’re growth partners. We move fast, think commercially, and back ourselves to deliver results. Our culture is built on ownership and growth through action. When we see opportunity, we act on it.
Based in Rosedale, Auckland, and sister company to Stuart Alexander & Co Pty Ltd Group (Australia), our team of 20+ ambitious, passionate people thrive on winning in market and supporting each other to succeed. If you enjoy working in a business where your contribution is visible and your impact is real, you’ll fit right in.
The Opportunity
This is not your standard National Account Manager role.
As our National Account Manager – WWNZ & Alt Channel, you’ll take full ownership of one of our most strategically important customer portfolios. You’ll be the commercial driver behind performance — shaping strategy, leading negotiations, building joint business plans, and delivering profitable growth across your accounts.
You’ll operate at the intersection of sales, category, finance, supply chain, and marketing — turning data into action, insight into strategy, and plans into measurable results. If you thrive on accountability, love the thrill of negotiation, and enjoy seeing your strategy come to life in-store, this is your opportunity to make real impact.
What You’ll Do
Own the Customer Relationship
- Act as the primary commercial lead for WWNZ & Alternate channel accounts.
- Build strong, strategic relationships across buying, supply chain, operations, and finance teams.
- Lead planning sessions, negotiations, and business reviews to achieve ranging, pricing, distribution, and promotional objectives.
- Align customer strategy with company growth ambitions.
Drive Commercial Performance
- Take full accountability for P&L delivery — net sales, gross margin, and trade spend.
- Manage promotional investment to maximise ROI.
- Monitor pricing and promotional claims in partnership with Finance.
- Identify growth levers through data, trends, and customer insight.
Lead Promotional & Category Execution
- Develop and execute promotional strategies aligned to customer calendars.
- Manage stock flow and supply planning to optimise returns.
- Analyse scan data and promotional performance to recommend improvements.
- Deliver compelling range review presentations alongside Category and Brand teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely submissions through Partner Hub, PMR, and related systems.
Own Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Lead forecasting for your portfolio with a focus on accuracy and supply continuity.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain and VRP teams.
- Manage NPD launches and SKU transitions seamlessly.
About You
You’re commercially sharp, highly driven, and love being accountable for results. You’re confident in front of customers, comfortable in the detail, and energised by delivering growth in a competitive retail environment.
You bring both strategic thinking and executional discipline — and you’re ready to own your numbers.
You will bring:
- Proven National or Key Account Management experience within FMCG.
- Experience managing major retail customers (WWNZ exposure highly advantageous).
- Strong P&L management capability — pricing, margins, and trade spend are second nature to you.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong analytical ability.
- Confidence pulling and interpreting scan data and turning insights into action.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Most importantly, you’re ambitious, solutions-focused, and motivated by delivering tangible commercial outcomes.
