We’re looking for a media geek with a knack for creating stellar client experiences to join our growing New Zealand team as a Customer Success Manager. Interested? Read on!
About the role
As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll act as the custodian of your own client portfolio composed of organisations across a diverse range of sizes and industries. You will act as a bridge between our clients and the broader Streem team, offering operational support, expertise and platform training whilst being an internal advocate of your client’s experience.
Your role will strike a balance between client-facing and behind-the-scenes tasks. You’ll have the opportunity to tailor Streem’s powerful platform to best suit your clients’ dynamic needs, whilst also finding your own unique voice as a media monitoring aficionado.
Your responsibilities
Every day as a Customer Success Manager is unique; you’ll often be guided by your clients’ media coverage and PR needs. On the day-to-day, you can find our Customer Success Managers:
- Setting up, customising, and managing our client accounts, including the creation and maintenance of keyword searches (hint: Boolean exposure is a plus!);
- Building and upholding strong client relationships through regular contact, strategic reviews, and Streem training sessions (virtual and face-to-face);
- Proactively monitoring the media landscape to identify key events and trends, ensuring our clients stay ahead of the news cycle and relevant internal teams are kept in the loop;
- Acting as the “voice of the customer” by gathering feedback and collaborating with our Product and Engineering teams to influence future platform enhancements;
- Delivering high-quality media intelligence through the production of reports, transcripts, and summaries, while maintaining strict quality control over all news content.
About you
Our next Customer Success Manager is dedicated to providing top-tier support to a diverse clientele. They’re confident in their ability to adapt to customers’ unique needs, informed by a strong sense of initiative and a keen interest in New Zealand media and public affairs.
Our next Customer Success Manager is not afraid of challenges but motivated by them, able to proactively manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a sharp attention to detail. As the second on-the-ground hire in our growing New Zealand team, this role is an awesome opportunity to join a talented group of people taking charge of a rapidly growing market.
The sweet spot for relevant experience in a similar role is 2 to 3 years, with bonus points if you’ve got media experience, a background in communications, or skills with Boolean and CRM tools.
⭐️ Please note: We’re building a team with varied strengths and backgrounds, so please don’t be discouraged from applying if you don’t meet all the skills requirements! Whether you’re looking for a step up or seeking a new challenge, we’re committed to offering opportunities to those who excel throughout the recruitment process and demonstrate a real willingness to learn.
