The James is an SRG Hospitality venue on Kent St in the heart of the CBD. We’re growing our front-of-house team and looking for people who love great service and a busy, polished floor.
The roles
- Runners
- Bartenders
- Section Wait Staff
What you’ll do
Runners
- Run food and drinks quickly and accurately, to spec
- Support the floor team and keep sections reset and service-ready
- Know the menu well enough to answer guest questions with confidence
Bartenders
- Prepare classic and signature cocktails, wine and beverages to spec
- Keep a clean, well-stocked and organised bar
- Deliver warm, engaging service at the bar and to the floor
Section Wait Staff
- Own your section from greeting to farewell
- Guide guests through the menu and wine list, with confident upselling
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to keep service seamless
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a quality restaurant, bar or hotel venue (runners: some experience preferred, attitude essential)
- Well presented, confident and guest-focused
- Available for evenings and weekends
- A current RSA (NSW) for bartenders and wait staff
- Current Australian working rights
