We’re stoked to be pioneers in Social Sports Entertainment, a new style of entertainment destination for ‘competitive socialising’ which serves up an incredible combo of seven sports simulator activities, casual dining, cocktails and more!
Our Doylo site is a 700-square-metre social entertainment playground for families, social gatherings, date nights and corporates to play & compete in immersive simulator games including Cricket, Tennis, Baseball, Lacrosse, Darts, Golf & F1 Racing.
Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to support the daily operations of our venue. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role will require flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Doylo Venue Manager in overseeing all aspects of the venue’s operations, including event planning, staffing, and customer service.
- Ensure all customers receive the best possible experience from the moment they check in, to their simulator inductions, to when they walk out wanting more!
- Manage the operation when the VM isn’t rostered, ensuring you are knowledgeable about the venue’s offerings and able to provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in social media posting and execution of in venue marketing campaigns.
- Assist with event planning, including handling general enquiries for bookings, events complaints and incidents.
- Deliver first class in-venue events, encompassing all simulator activities and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or events industry.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to handle fast paced ‘hospitality style’ environments.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for delivering first class guest experiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and event management software.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and policies.
