- Following food safety and hygiene procedures during harvesting
- Transporting harvested crops to the factory in a timely manner
- Assisting with daily crop monitoring for pests, disease, or other issues
- Keeping the glasshouse, equipment, pathways, and work areas clean and tidy
- Supporting planting activities, including planting seedlings into gullies
- Completing basic harvesting and crop maintenance documentation
- Reporting any crop, equipment, health and safety, or quality concerns
- Learning the day-to-day running of the glasshouse area, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a glasshouse environment, including warm and humid conditions
- Able to follow instructions and work to required standards
- Detail-focused, safety conscious, and willing to learn
- Confident communicating with others and helping keep the team on track
- Interested in developing leadership skills and stepping up when needed
- Experienced in crop harvesting, planting, food production, or team support would be an advantage, but is not essential
What we offer
- Starting rate: $25.50 per hour
- A hands-on role in a growing food production business
- Supportive team environment
- On-the-job training
- Opportunity to learn about indoor cropping, harvesting, planting, and glasshouse systems
- Potential to grow into a 2IC / team support role over time
How to apply
