Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Aqua Aerobics Instructor to deliver engaging, safe, and inclusive water-based fitness classes. The ideal candidate will motivate participants of varying ages and fitness levels while ensuring a fun, supportive, and safe aquatic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality aqua aerobics classes that cater to a range of fitness abilities and participant needs Ensure all classes are conducted safely and in accordance with pool safety guidelines and organisational policies.
  • Demonstrate and cue exercises clearly, using correct technique and modifications as required.
  • Monitor participants during sessions to ensure safety, correct form, and appropriate intensity.
  • Set up and pack away class equipment before and after sessions.
  • Maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere to encourage participant retention and enjoyment.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established emergency procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, lifeguards, and facility staff.
  • Maintain current certifications.

Essential Qualifications & Certifications

  • Current Aqua Aerobics / Water-Based Fitness Instructor Certification
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check
