What you’ll be doing
As a Power BI Consultant, you’ll partner with clients to turn complex business data into clear, actionable insights that drive better decisions.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing, building and maintaining engaging Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Working closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Developing robust data models using DAX and Power Query.
- Ensuring data quality, governance and reporting accuracy.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting capability and automate manual processes.
- Supporting and educating end users to maximise adoption of Power BI.
- Keeping across emerging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and analytics capabilities to bring fresh ideas to our clients.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every single box. If you’re passionate about data and enjoy solving problems, we’d still love to hear from you.
Ideally you’ll have:
- 2+ years’ experience in Power BI, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
- Strong Power BI development experience.
- Solid knowledge of DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
- Experience connecting to multiple data sources and building meaningful reporting solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent commercial experience).
Bonus points if you’ve worked with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, SQL or modern cloud data platforms.
