We’re looking for a Project Manager who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and purpose-driven work. Someone who can lead with confidence, think ahead, and make a tangible impact on programs that matter.

Your Opportunity

As a key member of our high-performing team, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary Defence projects that design, and test distributed passive radar networks for defence and other end users.

You’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle — from planning through to delivery and close-out — ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and outcomes exceed expectations.

In this role, you will:

• Manage projects to maximise customer value through Silentium’s products and services
• Take ownership of all aspects of project delivery — scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk, and procurement
• Maintain control of timelines, costs, and quality to deliver on time and within budget
• Develop and manage project plans, risk registers, and earned value metrics
• Coordinate internal resources and suppliers to meet technical and delivery requirements
• Identify risks and opportunities, driving proactive mitigation and improvement
• Embed project management best practices and continuous improvement across the company

About You

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager, ideally in engineering, Defence, or technology
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management (or equivalent demonstrated experience)
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end
• Experience using Microsoft Project
• AIPM certification or similar PM accreditation (PRINCE2, PMBOK, AGILE)
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Engineering degree or technical background
• Experience in manufacturing or low-volume production environments

Essential:

• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required.
• Experience in Microsoft Project
• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to work across environments — office, and partner sites
• Flexible, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
