Machine Operator

Summary:

The Machine Operator will operate equipment ( riveting, Press Brake and other equipment) in a Sheet Metal , manufacturing environment to produce high-quality component products. They will work closely with production team leader and Supervisor and quality control staff to ensure that products are produced to the required customer specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various types of manufacturing machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor production processes to ensure that products are produced to the required specifications.
• Adjust equipment settings to optimize performance and meet production goals.
• Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are followed.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with production team members and quality control personnel
• Participate in continuous improvement programs to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery within the Sheet Metal Industry (Riveting, Press Brake, Punch Press etc )
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Must have a positive attitude and team player
• Positions available on day and afternoon shift, Afternoon shift attracts afternoon shift loading
• Sevaan work 38 hr week Monday to Thursday
