Customer Service Team Member (Casual) – Caneland Central, Mackay

Caneland Central is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Team Member to join our Centre Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment where no two days are the same.
As one of the first points of contact for our customers, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for shoppers, retailers, contractors and visitors alike.
About the Role
This is a casual position, offering approximately 2–3 shifts per week. Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends and holiday periods, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Team Member, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional front-line customer service to shoppers and retailers
- Acting as a key point of contact between customers, retailers and Centre Management
- Assisting with general administrative and operational tasks
- Supporting contractors and service providers within the centre
- Helping maintain a welcoming, safe and professional environment
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous customer service, retail or administrative experience
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great service
