Join our collaborative Allied Health team as a Speech Pathologist, available full-time or part-time. You will deliver evidence-based, person-centred services across homes, schools, workplaces, community settings and SensesWA hubs, with strong clinical support, professional development and flexible working arrangements.

About the Role

As a SensesWA Speech Pathologist, you will support children, adolescents and adults with a range of communication, swallowing and developmental needs. Working within a supportive transdisciplinary team, you will provide assessment and intervention that promotes communication, participation, independence and quality of life.

This role also offers the opportunity to develop specialist skills with SensesWA’s Deafblind Services team, Australia’s pre-eminent allied health service provider for people living with combined vision and hearing loss.

You will work with a varied caseload including developmental delay, autism, hearing and vision impairment, disability and complex communication needs, with opportunities to tailor your caseload to your interests and strengths.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Eligibility for Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status and membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience working with people with disability is highly desirable, but not essential
  • Interest in or willingness to develop expertise in supporting people with combined vision and hearing loss
  • Current WA Driver’s Licence
  • Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening and First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Valid Australian working rights
