Description

Help shape the future of business leaders through education!

Love building relationships, achieving sales targets and helping people take the next step in their careers? This could be your next opportunity!

We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Admissions and Sales Advisor to join our sales team at AIM Business School (ABS).

In this hands-on, phone-based sales role, you’ll connect with prospective and existing students, understand their career aspirations and help them discover the right postgraduate education opportunities to achieve their goals.

From guiding newly enrolled students through their study options to encouraging existing students to continue their learning journey, you’ll build meaningful relationships, identify sales opportunities and play a key role in driving enrolments and student success.

This is an office-based role in Brisbane CBD, where you’ll work alongside a supportive, high-performing team. You’ll have the opportunity to achieve your sales goals while making a genuine difference in people’s education.

At AIM Business School, we believe in the power of education to transform careers and create opportunities. As part of Scentia, our purpose is to enable people to maximise their potential and contribute to a stronger society.

If you love sales, enjoy connecting with people and want to be rewarded for your results while helping others achieve their goals, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build meaningful connections: Engage with prospective and existing students, understanding their career goals and recommending suitable postgraduate study options.
  • Drive sales and enrolments: Proactively identify opportunities to increase student enrolments, unit bookings and continued study.
  • Support the student journey: Help newly enrolled students develop study plans and confidently navigate their learning experience.
  • Re-engage students: Connect with inactive students, understand their needs and encourage them to take the next step in their studies.
  • Deliver exceptional service: Respond to enquiries, provide accurate information and ensure every interaction reflects the premium AIM Business School experience.
  • Achieve results: Work towards individual sales targets and KPIs while contributing to the broader team’s success.
  • Collaborate and improve: Work closely with sales, marketing and student support teams to identify opportunities and continuously improve the student experience.

About You

You’re a natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people, understanding their needs and helping them make confident decisions.

You’ll bring a positive attitude, commercial mindset and the motivation to succeed in a results-driven environment.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in phone-based sales, admissions, student support or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience in consultative selling, with the ability to build rapport, uncover needs and influence decisions.
  • A proven ability to work towards sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and engaging phone manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple student relationships and follow-ups.
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a high-performing team.

Experience in higher education, student admissions or professional development would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
