We’re looking for a passionate and commercially minded Self Employment Assistance Coach to join our team in Bankstown and work alongside aspiring entrepreneurs as they turn business ideas into thriving ventures.

This is a full-time permanent role (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm). Occasional travel across South West Sydney and Greater Western Sydney may be required.

As a Self-Employment Assistance Coach, you’ll be a trusted adviser, mentor and champion for people pursuing self-employment.

You will:

• Support aspiring business owners to develop, launch and grow successful businesses.
• Assess business concepts, applications and participant suitability for the program.
• Provide one-on-one coaching, mentoring and practical business guidance.
• Assist participants to develop business plans, cash flow forecasts and growth strategies.
• Help participants identify opportunities, overcome challenges and achieve business milestones.
• Build strong relationships with participants, community stakeholders and referral partners.
• Maintain accurate records and support participants throughout their business journey

We’re looking for someone with real-world business experience and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

You’ll have:

• Experience owning, operating or supporting a small business.
• Strong knowledge of business operations, financial planning and cash flow management.
• Exceptional coaching, mentoring and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to inspire confidence and motivate people to achieve their goals.
• Experience developing business plans and analysing business performance.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
