The Opportunity
RPM Hire are seeking a talented and experienced Project Coordinator with exceptional project skills to coordinate all major project operational aspects after the sale has been completed in our team.
This is a key role to the delivery of services to our clients, requiring a dedicated individual with a flexible and adaptable approach to delivery and stakeholder management, combined with the ability to meet challenging deadlines and remaining balanced under pressure.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, monitor, and review job performance to ensure efficiency.
- Contribute to strategic planning and process improvements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Develop and implement operational processes and systems.
- Optimise workflow, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.
- Support key initiatives, system deployments, and learning programs.
- Manage mobilisation and demobilisation projects within time and budget constraints.
- Coordinate resource allocation, transport, and employee scheduling.
- Oversee supplier relationships, pricing, and contract management.
- Approve and track operational invoices for payment.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, operational oversight, and team leadership.
- Drive improvements in customer experience and service delivery.
- Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams for seamless project execution.
- Manage hire contracts, equipment tracking, and invoicing.
- Escalate employee concerns and provide mentorship and training.
- Support the BAU team when required.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you will bring
- Experience in project management, management & operations.
- Understanding of finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, and cash-flow management.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, customers, suppliers, partners, and employees.
- Ability to prioritise deliveries, equipment, and resources understanding the financial impact of decisions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn our hire system.
- Previous hire industry experience (desirable).
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
