This is a paid, part-time internship working 2–3 days per week over a 3–6 month fixed term, with the duration agreed based on your availability. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Creating and scheduling social media content, product flyers and marketing materials using tools such as Canva and Adobe.
- Assisting with website updates and responding to online comments, messages and reviews.
- Preparing the monthly newsletter and supporting internal communications.
- Assisting with merchandise creation, ordering and stock tracking.
- Coordinating printing and delivery of marketing materials, uniforms and business cards.
- Supporting events through attendee lists, tickets, promotional materials and general administration.
- Collating marketing data and tracking campaign performance for monthly reporting.
- Supporting the sales team with promotional requirements and assisting with day-to-day marketing requests.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents.
What you will bring
- An interest in marketing, communications and content creation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity, attention to detail and a willingness to share ideas.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and an interest in design tools such as Canva or Adobe.
- A positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Alignment with our core values and enthusiasm for working as part of a supportive team.
You don’t need years of experience—we’re looking for someone keen to learn, contribute and get involved.
What’s in it for you?
- Paid experience across a broad range of marketing activities.
- Opportunities to build a portfolio of published content and completed projects.
- Exposure to how marketing supports sales within a national business.
- Practical experience working with internal teams and external suppliers.
- A supportive team, employee recognition and confidential access to our Employee Assistance Program.
- Potential to progress into a part-time or full-time role following the internship, subject to business needs and performance.
