This is an excellent opportunity
for a person with a background in aquatic operations, chemical treatment, water
balancing & problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and an ultimate
desire to succeed and continue the growth and development of the Workforce
Solutions division of Royal Life Saving Society WA.
Our Operators are
expected to provide pool cleaning, water balancing and corrective chemical
dosing to commercial pool facilities across the Perth metro area. Full training
will be provided to the right person. This position is being offered on a
casual basis. Hours of work may include mornings, evenings, weekends &
public holidays.
Tasks include:
• Maintenance and
cleaning of numerous aquatic sites
• Water testing and
balancing
• Assist in identifying
& reporting issues that require maintenance
• Maintain accurate
water testing records
• Adhere to OHS
standards
• Maintain and enhance
client relationships
To be
considered for this role candidates must hold the following essential
qualifications: –
• SISSS00131 – Aquatic
Technical Operator & LIWA accreditation
• Sound knowledge and
understanding of pool filtration systems and water treatment
• Strong written and
verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and
willingness to work on a rotating roster
• Attention to detail,
and a high focus on health and safety
• Valid drivers’ license
• Current Police
Clearance and Working with Children check, or willingness to obtain on
successful employment
• Current Provide First
Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent), or willingness to obtain on on
successful employment
