Working closely with Finance, Operations and Management, you’ll act as the key link between the business’s operational activities and financial performance, helping leaders understand costs, productivity, profitability and opportunities for improvement.

About the Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting business decision-making through analysis, reporting and commercial insights.

You will work closely with operational leaders to understand production performance, analyse operational and financial data, and provide recommendations that support sustainable growth and profitability.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine financial expertise with operational engagement in a dynamic agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong working relationships with operational leaders across the business.
• Partner with managers to improve understanding of financial performance and business outcomes.
• Analyse production, operational and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Translate complex operational information into clear and practical financial insights.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Monitor performance against budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards and performance measures.
• Assist operational leaders in understanding cost drivers, productivity and profitability.
• Provide financial modelling and commercial analysis to support business initiatives and investment decisions.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to improve reporting, systems and processes.
• Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential

• Degree qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
• Experience in finance, commercial analysis, management accounting or business partnering roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with reporting tools and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret complex information and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and commercially focused approach.

Desirable

• Experience within agriculture, horticulture, manufacturing, production or other operational environments.
• Experience using operational reporting, farm management, business intelligence or ERP systems.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting frameworks and performance metrics.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes.
