RoboFit · Where 1% wins stack up into life-changing progress
Why this role is different
At RoboFit Parramatta we combine evidence led conventional physiotherapy with emerging technologies single-joint and full lower-limb robotics, hand robotics, EMS and Cyberdyne’s HAL exoskeleton to support clients living with spinal cord injury, MS, Parkinson’s disease, FND, stroke, chronic pain and other neurological conditions.
You don’t need to arrive knowing every piece of kit. We provide the training. What we can’t train for is the drive to keep climbing mountains alongside your clients that needs to come from you.
This role is open to both part time and/or full time applications.
Our clinics across NSW, VIC and QLD are purpose-built for neuro-rehab: modern, accessible community environments designed so you can do your best work. And because we’re growing our community, there’s genuine scope to move into leadership or specialised roles as the organisation evolves.
What you’ll do
- Deliver person-centred therapy to clients across a range of neurological and musculoskeletal presentations, focusing on functional improvement, independence and quality of life.
- Use and learn cutting-edge technology
- Collaborate across disciplines working alongside physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and community health professionals to keep care aligned with each client’s goals.
- Support clients across funding schemes requirements, including writing reports that help clients access and maintain their funding.
- Build genuine relationships with clients, families and support networks inside the clinic and out in the community.
- Pick up the broom participate in case reviews, clinical mentoring and education, and contribute wherever the team needs you.
Who you are
- You’re a registered physiotherapist who brings curiosity, compassion and creativity to every session. You might have a solid background in neuro-rehab, or you’re earlier in your career and hungry to build one properly either way, you show up for your clients and your teammates.
- You’ll fit right in if you:
- Feel genuinely energised when a client hits a milestone they didn’t think was possible
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment and share knowledge freely
- Are excited by emerging technology and the future of neuroplasticity research
- Communicate clearly with clients, families and other health professionals
- Want a role that sustains you, not just one that stretches you thin
Experience with neurological populations is ideal, but we welcome applications from physiotherapists who have a genuine passion about moving into this space and ready to learn.
What we offer
- A team that wins together
- Close-knit, supportive clinic culture built on collaboration. No internal competition just shared purpose to support our community
- Personalised development
- Dedicated personalised CPD budget, internal and external PD, peer mentoring through our RoboPals program and regular case reviews.
- New and emerging technology
- Work with robotics and emerging neuro-rehab tech and contribute to research in neuroplasticity as the field evolves.
- Work-life balance for real
- We know neuro-rehab is emotionally demanding. Flexibility, support and genuine care for your wellbeing are part of the deal.
