Junior Spare Parts Apprenticeship

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Spare Parts Interpreter Apprentice to join our dynamic Daimler Trucks Dealership in Townsville, Queensland. This permanent, full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry, focusing on the interpretation and management of spare parts. As a vital part of our operations, you will contribute to ensuring our customers receive the right parts efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in interpreting spare parts requests from customers and technicians
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management
• Support the team in sourcing and ordering spare parts from suppliers
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
• Learn to utilise automotive parts management software and systems effectively
• Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and skills
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of parts

About you:

• Completion of secondary education (Year 10 or equivalent
• Confident, driven and proactive, with a genuine can-do attitude.
• Interested in the mechanical and heavy-vehicle industry.
• Commitment to completing the 3-year apprenticeship programme
• Keen to learn, develop and build their industry knowledge.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
• Current driver’s licence to facilitate movement within the dealership environment.
