The role
The Change Manager prepares and supports people through organisational, process and technology change. The role develops evidence-based change strategies, engages impacted groups and helps leaders embed new behaviours and ways of working.
Key responsibilities
- Assess change impacts, stakeholder needs, readiness, risks and adoption barriers.
- Develop and deliver change, engagement, communication, learning and adoption plans.
- Partner with leaders and change networks to build sponsorship and local ownership.
- Create clear communications and practical learning or support materials for affected audiences.
- Integrate change activities with project plans, releases, business readiness and operational transition.
- Measure adoption, sentiment and benefits, and adjust interventions using evidence and feedback.
- Provide constructive challenge where project decisions may undermine sustainable adoption.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience delivering organisational change for complex business or technology initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder analysis, communication, facilitation, learning and change-planning capability.
- Knowledge of recognised change approaches; Prosci, APMG or similar certification is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Sound judgement, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
- A collaborative, respectful approach and willingness to support work beyond immediate responsibilities when needed.
- Commitment to quality, confidentiality, security, workplace policies and client compliance requirements.
- Curiosity about emerging technology and openness to using approved AI tools responsibly to improve outcomes.
