Purchasing Officer (Remote | Philippines-based)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Purchasing Officer based in the Philippines to support our purchasing operations and sales team remotely.

The role will focus on coordinating supplier orders, maintaining purchasing records, monitoring deliveries, and helping ensure that products are sourced accurately, cost-effectively, and within required timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

• Place orders with approved suppliers and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Monitor supplier lead times and ensure orders meet required delivery schedules.
• Check deliveries against orders, including quantity, specifications, and pricing.
• Manage supplier relationships, including supplier pricing and local price lists.
• Monitor inventory levels, reordering requirements, aged stock, and clearance items.
• Source products and compare suppliers to identify potential cost savings.
• Communicate with management and the sales team regarding order updates, delays, and potential issues.
• Help maintain and improve purchasing processes and procedures.

About You

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with NetSuite, CRM systems or other business systems.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with a team.
