About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply, Distribution and Warehouse Manager to oversee the entire supply chain operations for our [company/organization]. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and distribution, with the ability to manage both the day-to-day operations and the strategic planning required to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations & Staff Management: Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. Foster a collaborative, productive, and safe work environment.

• Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management procedures to ensure accurate tracking, optimal space utilization, and efficient stock control.

• Logistics & Distribution Coordination: Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products. Schedule deliveries and manage relationships with freight carriers to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs.

• Safety and Compliance: Monitor warehouse safety and security protocols, including maintaining equipment, adhering to OSHA regulations, and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Procurement, Operations) to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, coordinating closely with teams to meet customer demands and business objectives.

• Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze warehouse data to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement. Lead process optimization initiatives to improve operational performance, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

• Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and other warehouse activities. Ensure that all records comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Budget Management: Manage budgeting expenses related to warehouse operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial targets for warehouse management.

• Supply Chain & Vendor Relations: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the entire supply chain, from procurement to delivery. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure competitive pricing and efficient service delivery.

• Demand Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with the planning team to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels to meet customer requirements, preventing stockouts or overstock situations.

• Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with supply chain regulations, manage risks related to transportation, and proactively address any issues that could disrupt the supply chain.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, supply chain operations, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams.

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of team management, training, and development.

• In-depth knowledge of inventory management systems, procedures, and best practices.

• Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and regulations, including international shipping where applicable.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and engage with external partners effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting expenses and optimize operational costs.
