Disability Support Worker

Skills/Experience Required:

• PEG feeds
• Mealtime management with Dysphagia
• Epilepsy
• Experience or willingness to learn communication with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
• Hoist/manual handling
• Personal care

Preferences: Strong verbal and written English communication skills with English as a first language preferred. Seeking a confident and professional candidate with several years of work experience who will be a good cultural fit. Preference for candidates aged between 24–40 years who are looking for a longer-term opportunity.

Shift Availability Needs:

• Monday morning 9:30am – 12:30pm
• Monday overnight 9:00pm – 9:00am
• Tuesday evening 5:00pm – 9:00pm
• Wednesday overnight 9:00pm – 9:00am
• Thursday evening 5:00pm – 9:00pm
• Thursday overnight 9:00pm – 9:00am
• Friday overnight 9:00pm – 9:00am (possibly extending to 10:00am)
