Administration Officer – Assets & IT

Be the key support behind our assets, facilities and technology operations.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Assets & IT Administrator to join our team, based in Port Hedland and support the day-to-day administration of asset, property, facilities and IT functions across the organisation.

Reporting to the Assets & Logistics Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining records and systems, coordinating IT requests, supporting procurement activities, managing purchase orders, and ensuring company assets and facilities are accurately tracked and well maintained.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as a key contact for staff and our external IT provider.

• Coordinating IT equipment, user requests and onboarding/offboarding requirements.

• Maintaining IT, asset, fleet, housing and property registers.

• Raising and tracking Purchase Orders.

• Supporting procurement and supplier administration.

• Assisting with facilities, housing and property maintenance coordination.

• Managing departmental records, databases and shared inboxes.

• Updating organisational systems including Mango.

• Preparing reports and providing administrative support across multiple office locations.

About You

You are a local based resident of Port Hedland, highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoy working across a variety of administrative functions. You can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and take pride in maintaining accurate records and systems.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Experience in an administration or support role.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Confident with Microsoft Office and database management.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Experience supporting assets, facilities, procurement or IT functions is desirable.

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).

• Experience maintaining records, databases or registers.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
