THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing daily warehouse activities, supporting the team and ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.

This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, leading by example and ensuring daily targets and operational standards are achieved.

You will help keep the warehouse running smoothly by coordinating day-to-day activities, assisting team members, maintaining stock accuracy and working collaboratively with other departments to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will include:

• Daily Warehouse Operations: Oversee and participate in daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatching orders.
• Team Support & Supervision: Support, guide and assist warehouse team members to ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately and to the required standard.
• Targets & Productivity: Monitor daily workloads and performance against targets, helping ensure orders are processed and dispatched within required timeframes.
• Stock Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stocktakes and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Quality & Accuracy: Ensure orders are picked, packed and processed correctly, maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation.
• Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Customer Service and other departments to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
• Problem Solving: Identify operational challenges, use sound judgement to resolve issues and escalate matters when required.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to improve warehouse efficiency, workflows and overall performance.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Other Duties: Assist with additional warehouse and operational tasks as directed by management.

ABOUT YOU

You are a reliable, proactive and practical individual who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a team. You understand the importance of accuracy, efficiency and accountability in a busy e-commerce warehouse.

You will ideally bring:

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or similar role (essential).
• Hands-on experience in picking, packing, receiving and dispatching goods.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Experience leading a team and planning daily operations
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to order accuracy.
• The ability to monitor workloads, meet daily targets and support team productivity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with sound judgement and common sense.
• A positive attitude, approachable manner and willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• A genuine sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
