Owning and operating an electricity distribution network across 10,800 km2 with over 40,000 consumer connections is no mean feat. The Role

The Customer Services Officer is a critical role in our network team and is responsible for managing, reviewing and approving customer applications for network development and extensions. This includes assessing electrical capacity, physical access and safety of new applications. Once you are happy with the design you’ll be approving and monitoring the extension construction. Managing the administration and records associated with these processes is also a central part of the role.

About You

If you are currently working in the electricity distribution industry on the tools and you’re looking for a change or have line design experience, this might be the job for you.

Given the critical nature of this role in maintaining the quality of our network, we are looking for someone with

• 5 years+ experience in electricity distribution,

• sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and GIS,

• a trade cert/diploma in engineering, electrical or equivalent.
