About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on role providing day-to-day IT support to employees across the organisation. Working closely with the IS team, you will troubleshoot technical issues, support users, manage equipment and systems, and assist with the delivery of IT projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to employees
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues
  • Set up and configure laptops, computers, phones and other IT equipment
  • Manage user accounts, access and permissions
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Provide support across Microsoft 365 and business applications
  • Log, manage and resolve IT support requests
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IS team member or external vendor
  • Assist with IT system implementations, upgrades and projects
  • Maintain IT asset and equipment records
  • Assist with software installation, updates and troubleshooting
  • Ensure IT issues are documented and resolved within appropriate timeframes
  • Follow IT security, compliance and organisational policies

About You

  • You will be a practical and solutions-focused IT professional who enjoys supporting people and resolving technical issues.
  • You will ideally have:
  • Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk or Help Desk role
  • Level 1 and Level 2 technical support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software and user management
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise competing support requests
  • A proactive and reliable approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a broader IS team
  • Experience within healthcare, aged care, NDIS or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
