Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee our residential and commercial properties in Canberra. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our property portfolio, enhancing tenant satisfaction, and maximising property value. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing organisation in the property and housing industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, including rent collection and financial reporting.
  • Market available properties and conduct viewings to attract potential tenants.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and renewals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Stay updated on market trends and property management best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 3-5 years in property management.
  • Strong understanding of property management regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties effectively.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant qualifications in property management, real estate, or a related field are preferred.
