Summary:

As an HR Officer in the Advertising & PR industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting our human resources functions, ensuring that our workforce is engaged, skilled, and aligned with the company’s objectives. Based in Adelaide, South Australia, this permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and help shape our organisational culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation programmes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback mechanisms.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Assist in employee engagement activities and initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide support in resolving employee relations issues and conducting investigations as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably within the Advertising & PR industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
