Join the team behind one of Sydney’s most exciting hospitality openings.

As part of the expansion of the acclaimed a’Mare dining experience, we are seeking passionate and professional Section Waiters to join both a’Mare and the newly opening Vista’Mare at Crown Sydney.

Working within a premium dining environment, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences while showcasing genuine hospitality, product knowledge, and attention to detail.

About the Role

As a Section Waiter, you will be responsible for managing your own section, building guest relationships, and delivering seamless service from arrival through to departure.

We are currently recruiting for both casual and full-time positions.

Full-Time Salary

$79,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Casual Employment

Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA) rates apply, including applicable penalty rates and public holiday loadings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional table service in a fine dining environment
  • Manage a dedicated section during service
  • Present menus and provide detailed food and beverage recommendations
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Italian cuisine, wine, and beverage offerings
  • Utilise SevenRooms (7R) guest notes and reservation information to personalise service
  • Work collaboratively with sommeliers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen teams
  • Maintain venue presentation and service standards throughout service
  • Assist with table resetting and preparation between bookings
  • Build genuine rapport with guests and create memorable dining experiences

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a premium restaurant or fine dining environment
  • Hospitality Diploma or equivalent qualification highly regarded
  • Experience using SevenRooms (7R) or similar reservations platforms
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge
  • Exceptional grooming and presentation standards
  • Professional communication and guest engagement skills
  • Current NSW RSA Certificate
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to successfully complete Crown Sydney Police and Compliance Checks
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Desirable

  • Italian language skills
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and regional wines
  • Previous experience within premium or hatted restaurants
