celebrates the rich traditions of Italian food, wine, and hospitality. Since
opening, Cibaria has become a favourite among locals and visitors alike, offering
a vibrant dining experience across a large-scale venue overlooking one of
Australia’s most iconic beaches.
Our menu showcases the best of
Italian cuisine, from antipasti and handmade pasta to artisanal gelato,
cocktails, premium wines, and our signature pizzette program. As part of
Maestro Hospitality, Cibaria offers the opportunity to work alongside some of Australia’s
most respected Italian hospitality professionals.
We are currently seeking an
experienced Casual Pizzaiolo to join our kitchen team.
Position
Requirements
To be considered for this role,
applicants must have:
- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as a
Pizzaiolo in a professional commercial kitchen
- Demonstrated experience in dough
production, fermentation management, stretching, and pizza cooking
techniques
- Experience working in high-volume
hospitality environments
- Strong understanding of food safety,
hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards
- Ability to work efficiently under
pressure and as part of a professional kitchen brigade
- Strong communication and organisational
skills
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends,
evenings, and public holidays as required
Formal culinary qualifications
are highly regarded.
Key
Responsibilities
- Prepare, ferment, portion, and manage
pizza dough production
- Stretch, top, and cook pizzette to
established venue standards
- Monitor product quality, consistency, and
presentation during service
- Maintain stock levels and assist with
ordering requirements
- Ensure food safety and sanitation
standards are consistently upheld
- Work collaboratively with the wider
kitchen team during service
- Contribute to menu development and
seasonal specials where required
- Assist with training and mentoring junior
kitchen staff
