Casual Café Chef – Cibaria Manly

25–35 Hours Per Week | Day Shifts Only

Cibaria Manly is looking for a passionate and reliable Casual Café Chef to join our growing team.

Located within the vibrant Manly Pacific precinct, Cibaria is an Italian-inspired all-day dining destination offering breakfast, lunch, pastries, coffee, gelato, and takeaway in a fast-paced coastal environment.

About the Role

Working across our café and casual dining operations, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys busy daytime services, thrives in a team environment, and is looking for a role with work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and café menu items to a high standard
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Support smooth service during peak trading periods
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS procedures
  • Assist with stock rotation, prep, and kitchen organisation
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a café, brunch, or fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Passion for fresh food and quality presentation
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Full Australian working rights
