Summary:

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at our vibrant establishment in Barangaroo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. You will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional dining experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service and quality. This position is vital for fostering a positive atmosphere and driving the success of our hospitality business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service.
  • Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and protocols.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stock control.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles.
