Pacific Gympie Dealership Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Parts Interpreter to join our busy Parts Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish a long-term career in the automotive industry. No previous parts interpreting experience is required, as full on-the-job training and support will be provided.

For the right candidate, we are also open to supporting you in completing a nationally recognised automotive parts interpreting qualification.

Pacific Gympie Dealership Group is a locally owned and operated automotive business with three dealership locations across Gympie and the Sunshine Coast.

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced Parts team, you will learn all aspects of automotive parts interpreting, including:

• Identifying and sourcing automotive parts and accessories.
• Assisting technicians and workshop staff with parts requirements.
• Serving customers at the parts counter and over the phone.
• Processing parts orders, invoices and stock enquiries.
• Receiving, checking and organising incoming stock.
• Picking and preparing parts for workshop jobs and customer orders.
• Learning manufacturer parts catalogues and dealership systems.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient Parts Department.

About You

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Ideally, you will have:

• An interest in cars or the automotive industry.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• A reliable, punctual and enthusiastic approach to work.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• A willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibility.
• A current driver’s licence or be working towards obtaining one.

Previous automotive experience is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and a genuine desire to build a career.
