Description
Join P4 Movement’s clinical team and make a difference in the lives of others!
Passionate about promoting health and wellness through tailored exercise programs? We are seeking a Clinician with either Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy specialism to join our dynamic team, with a focus on supporting aged care and geriatric clients.
About Us:
P4 Movement brings together fitness and allied health services in Wollongong, offering a more connected approach to your health and wellbeing. With gym, group training and clinical therapies under one roof, our model offers innovative, evidence-based exercise and therapy for those with neurological conditions, physical disabilities, and on their health and wellness journey – to make it easier to move well, stay active and achieve your goals.
Our multidisciplinary team develops personalised programs to achieve rehabilitation goals, including prehab, post operative, return to sport/work, functional strength and conditioning, management of chronic health conditions, and specialised treatments like Neurological and Stroke Rehabilitation.
It is important to us that our clients feel listened to, safe and supported in professional hands. We recognise that no two people are the same – our clients come from different backgrounds, with different starting points and varied goals and expectations about their treatment and fitness options.
Understanding this is at the centre of our approach and therefore providing experiences tailored to the individual is our goal.
What we are looking for:
We currently have a fixed term opportunity for a clinician with a Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy specialism to join our team. While this is initially a parental leave vacancy, there may be opportunities for extension or the position being made permanent depending on business needs. We will consider both full time and part time arrangements.
Working across our clinic, community and aged care settings, you will support clients to improve their mobility, strength, confidence, independence and overall wellbeing through evidence-based assessment, treatment and exercise interventions.
As a clinician at P4 Movement, you will:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualised treatment and rehabilitation programs.
- Deliver exercise-based and therapeutic interventions to support client goals.
- Work with a diverse range of clients including older adults, NDIS participants, private clients, Home Care Package recipients and workers compensation clients.
- Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate closely with clients to provide lifestyle education and modification techniques, while monitoring ongoing progress towards goals.
- Provide safe, evidence-based clinical care, aligned with each client’s needs and goals.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, GPs and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing mentoring, supervision and professional development.
- Contribute to helping people move well, stay active and remain connected to their community.
- Have the flexibility to deliver services outside of standard business hours when required.
About you:
We are looking for someone with a blend of skills and experiences, including:
- Qualified clinician – Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist
- Experience working across different age groups and abilities, aged care and geriatric experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Professional Registration with governing body as well as current professional insurances.
- Ability to build strong patient relationships and work both autonomously and within a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for making a positive impact on people’s health and fitness journey.
Why should you join us:
- Supportive, client-focused team environment.
- Work alongside experienced clinicians in state-of-the-art facilities.
- Exposure to a broad range of clinical presentations and funding streams.
- Access to innovative technology and equipment.
- Ongoing professional development and opportunities to grow your career.
- Wellness program benefits, CPD opportunities, and employee referral schemes.
