About Us

We’re currently seeking candidates in their penultimate or final year at university to join our rapidly growing firm. You will gain paid work experience for two weeks in our Summer 2026/27 Vacation Program with the potential to progress your career on a part-time basis. Oakstone Advisory are an integrated, passionate team of trusted advisors providing a full range of quality tax, accounting and business services to a broad domestic and international client base. We are a progressive and motivated firm that take pride in our technical knowledge and ability to provide practical outcomes for all of our clients.

Our Undergraduate Vacation Program allows you to be involved in real client work alongside our staff from Consultant level through to our Directors.

The Role

In this role, you are expected to make a positive impact in our team of Consultants alongside our Managers and Directors.

Your main responsibilities in business advisory/tax will include:

·       Assist with the preparation of tax compliance for all entity types including income tax, financial statements, BAS, FBT

·       Research and provide tax advice for clients

·       Attend and participate in client meetings

·       Assist with financial modelling

·       Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office and other Government Agencies

·       Attend and participate in training

Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

·       Is studying towards a degree in Accounting

·       Must be residing in Australia

·       Is ambitious and motivated to learn, be challenged and mentored

·       Has strong written and communication skills

·       Has strong technical tax skills

·       Someone who wants to join in on the fun and positive culture
