Are you a compassionate and experienced Support Worker with advanced clinical skills?
We are seeking a dedicated Complex Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred care to NDIS participants with complex medical needs for 2 Hour Shifts – Max 4 Hours.
About the Role:
You will be supporting clients with high support needs in their homes and communities, including those with:
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG feeding and maintenance
- Catheter care (indwelling, suprapubic, intermittent)
- Ventilator care
- This role requires someone confident, skilled, and committed to delivering safe, dignified, and respectful care.
2 Hour Shifts – Max 4 Hours
Key Responsibilities:
- 2 Hour Shifts – Max 4 Hours
- Perform complex health-related tasks within your scope of training and as delegated by health professionals
- Support clients with daily living, hygiene, mobility, and social engagement
- Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams and families
Essential Experience:
- At least 12 months experience in complex care or disability support
- Demonstrated ability in Tracheostomy, PEG, Catheter, and Ventilator care
Mandatory Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Infection Control Training
- Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
- First Aid & CPR (HLTAID011)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
- Manual Handling Training
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
