Are you a compassionate and experienced Support Worker with advanced clinical skills?

We are seeking a dedicated Complex Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred care to NDIS participants with complex medical needs.

About the Role:

You will be supporting clients with high support needs in their homes and communities, including those with:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • PEG feeding and maintenance
  • Catheter care (indwelling, suprapubic, intermittent)
  • Ventilator care
  • This role requires someone confident, skilled, and committed to delivering safe, dignified, and respectful care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex health-related tasks within your scope of training and as delegated by health professionals
  • Support clients with daily living, hygiene, mobility, and social engagement
  • Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams and families

Essential Experience:

  • At least 12 months experience in complex care or disability support
  • Demonstrated ability in Tracheostomy, PEG, Catheter, and Ventilator care

Mandatory Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Infection Control Training
  • Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
  • First Aid & CPR (HLTAID011)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
  • Manual Handling Training

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in disability support or related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to handle challenging behaviors and situations
  • Knowledge of disability rights and advocacy
