QA Intern

Description  

The QA Intern operates in a structured learning role within the Quality Assurance team, supporting testing and quality activities under close supervision. This role is designed to build foundational understanding of software quality assurance practices, tools, and professional behaviours. Judgement and ownership are limited to clearly defined tasks, with learning, feedback, and capability development as the primary focus. The role does not carry delivery accountability and does not replace Level 1 capacity. 

About the Role 

Responsibilities:    

• Support testing and quality activities under guidance, including test execution, test automation, test data preparation, and documentation updates. 
• Assist in creating and maintaining test artefacts such as test cases, test automation scripts, test notes, defect records, and supporting documentation. 
• Execute clearly defined test scenarios and accurately record results. 
• Learn and follow established QA processes, tools, and standards. 
• Shadow experienced QA team members to build understanding of QA practices across delivery. 
• Raise questions, gaps, or issues promptly and seek feedback to support learning. 
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
