Role Type
Description
Hotel Services Manager – NoosaCare
We are seeking to hire a Hotel Services Manager across our two sites, Carramar in Tewantin, and Kabara in Cooroy, working closely with the clinical care team to provide a holistic model of care and service delivery. You’ll lead cleaning, laundry, catering and Harry’s restaurant and café, as well as supervise the maintenance and gardening functions.
You will have a strong commitment to supporting leadership growth and development within our team, as well as driving high-quality service, building and maintenance standards.
What you’ll do
• Lead, mentor, and develop the teams delivering cleaning, laundry, catering and maintenance
• Shape menus and dining experiences that balance nutrition, variety and choice
• Own the budgets, rosters, procurement and supplier negotiations
• Keep us audit-ready on food safety, infection control, WHS and the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Turn resident, family and staff feedback into visible improvements
• Work closely with Clinical, Finance, People & Culture and department heads
You are
• A continuous improver. You’re never satisfied that “good enough” sufficient. You question how things are done, try better ways and measure what works, always asking whether it improves a resident’s day.
• An innovator. You bring fresh ideas in dining, service and environment, and you have the drive to make them stick.
• Strategic. You plan, and fix causes, not just symptoms.
• Motivated and engaged. You take ownership and don’t wait to be asked.
• A natural communicator who possesses strong emotional intelligence. You’re credible with a resident, a worried family, a supplier, a clinician and the executive.
• A leader who builds people. You mentor, coach and empower team members who need support to learn and grow, and you’re proud when they achieve goals and milestones.
• Calm under pressure, with an eye for detail.
You bring
• 5+ years in management or senior leadership (preferably in hotel services)
• Experience leading teams, rostering and managing budgets
• Excellent communication, technology and computer skills
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or a commitment to get it)
• Current driver’s licence and unrestricted right to work in Australia
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (desirable)
• Experience working with a diverse community
