Senior People & Culture Advisor (Fixed Term – 12 Months)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our People & Culture team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to cover parental leave.

In this role, you will provide high‑quality, timely and practical HR advice and support to people leaders and staff across the organisation. You will work closely with the People & Culture Manager to deliver best‑practice guidance across performance management, employment relations, recruitment, remuneration, induction, leadership development and organisational change.

You will also play a key role in building leadership capability across your portfolio, supporting key People & Culture projects, contributing to policy and system development, and mentoring others within the team to foster continuous improvement.

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • A qualification in HR, business management, or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3+ years’ generalist HR experience
  • Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and best-practice HR frameworks
  • Experience supporting change management, performance, and remuneration processes
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills
  • The ability to operate effectively in a complex and evolving environment, offering sound, pragmatic HR advice
