As our Senior Front-End Developer, you’ll work closely with our designer to bring their visions to life. You’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining our new web presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across all platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact and grow with our company!

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with our designer to translate mockups and wireframes into high-quality, responsive web applications
Develop and maintain React-based web applications and websites
Front-end architecture and technical design decisions
Ensure performance optimisation and stay up to date with web best practices
Integration with Azure and Trev (our bespoke CRM / Travel Management solution)
Cloudflare configuration and delivery optimisation
CI/CD and deployment processes
Collaboration with internal stakeholders and project teams
Implement dynamic and interactive elements using JavaScript (ES6+)
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Identify and troubleshoot front-end issues and bugs
Technical guidance and coaching for junior developers
Leads shadowing and “how-to” guidance

Requirements:

Minimum Level 7 qualification in Software Engineering or Mathematics (Bachelors degree, graduate certificate or graduate diploma)
Proven experience as a Front-end developer
Deep understanding of CSS and its application in creating responsive and visually appealing layouts
Solid experience with React.js and its ecosystem
Experience with modern front-end build tools and workflows (eg. Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn)
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A proactive and problem-solving mindset
A genuine enthusiasm for working in a fast-paces, growing environment
