About Us

At New Plumbing Solutions (NPS), we’re not your average plumbing company!

We’re a fast-growing Australian business delivering innovative plumbing, water infrastructure and metering solutions across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re passionate about creating opportunities together. With a strong focus on teamwork, continuous improvement and doing things differently, we’re building a business where our people can grow, develop and make a real impact.

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and solutions-focused Project Coordinator to join our Metering team.

Based at our Northmead Head Office and reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our metering operations running smoothly, coordinating work from initial allocation through to completion and invoicing.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same! You’ll work closely with our field teams, schedulers, operational leaders and clients to ensure work is delivered efficiently, customer expectations are met and our teams have what they need to succeed.

If you enjoy juggling competing priorities, solving problems and working with a range of stakeholders, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing the end-to-end job lifecycle, from job creation through to field completion, customer acceptance and invoicing.
  • Calculating and coordinating sub-contractor incentives and ensuring timely weekly reporting to Operations Manager.
  • Working closely with schedulers and operational leaders to coordinate field resources, workloads and workforce capacity.
  • Coordinating daily metering workloads, ensuring jobs are allocated, monitored and completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, customers, field teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating urgent and escalated jobs, troubleshooting issues and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Liaising with warehouse teams and suppliers to ensure materials, equipment and resources are available when needed.
  • Preparing operational reports, maintaining accurate job records and providing insights into performance.

About You

You’re someone who thrives in a busy operational environment, enjoys taking ownership and knows how to keep things moving.

You’ll bring:

  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in project coordination, invoicing, administration or a similar operational role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Customer invoicing and accounts experience would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience working with operational systems, maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Experience in utilities, metering, field services, construction or infrastructure is highly valued but not essential.
