Barrister

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Barrister to join our legal team in Sydney. This role involves representing clients in court and providing expert legal advice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and excellent advocacy skills, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional legal services.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings and submissions
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and case law
• Collaborate with solicitors and other legal professionals
• Advocate effectively in both written and oral formats

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
• Admitted to practice as a Barrister in Australia
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in litigation or relevant legal practice
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical and research abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
