Branch Manager

Lead the Team | Grow the Business | Make an Impact

Circa $140k + Vehicle + Incentive Programme

Are you a strong people leader who knows how to get the best out of a team? Maybe you’re already running a branch or regional operation. Or perhaps you’re a strong 2IC who’s ready to step up, take ownership and lead a business.

At Cobram Pumping & Irrigation, we’re looking for a hands-on leader to take the reins of our Cobram operation – building a great team, strengthening our customer relationships and driving the continued growth of the business.

If you know rural customers, enjoy solving problems and get genuine satisfaction from seeing your people succeed, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

  • This is a genuine leadership role with significant ownership of the performance of the Cobram business.
  • You’ll lead a diverse team across sales, service, projects, retail and support functions, creating an environment where people know what’s expected, enjoy coming to work and take pride in what they do.
  • You’ll also take ownership of the commercial performance of the branch, using financial and operational information to make good decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • You don’t need to be a finance guru from day one – we’re looking for commercial curiosity, good judgement and a willingness to learn.
  • A big part of the role is our customers. You’ll build relationships across Cobram and the surrounding agricultural community, understand what our customers need and make sure we follow through on what we promise.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a strong people leader who can motivate, coach and bring a team together.
  • Can build a positive culture while setting clear expectations and holding people accountable.
  • Understands rural customers and the importance of long-term relationships.
  • Has experience leading teams within a branch, dealership, regional business or operational environment.
  • Has good commercial instincts and is comfortable taking ownership of results.
  • Has project management experience (highly desirable).
  • Experience across irrigation, pumping, agricultural machinery, rural supplies, engineering, water infrastructure or another field-based service business (highly regarded).

Ready for Your Next Step?

You don’t necessarily need to have been a Branch Manager before. If you’re an experienced 2IC, Assistant Manager, Operations Supervisor or similar who has demonstrated leadership capability and is ready to step up, we’ll provide in-house coaching and development to help you succeed.

What matters most is your ability to lead people, understand our customers and take ownership. Relocation candidates are also welcome.

If you’re ready to lead a great team and put your stamp on a well-established regional business, apply now.
