Job Title: Storesperson

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storesperson to join our team in Wangara, Western Australia. The primary role of the Storesperson is to pick, pack, and load/unload all ingoing/outgoing freight with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by fulfilling pick requests from various sources and following Multotec procedures for order preparation.

Skills:

Meticulous attention to detail, with a proven ability to maintain accuracy in freight handling and order preparation.

– Ability to operate a forklift (LF truck) with a valid high-risk work license

– Strong attention to detail

– Excellent communication skills

– Knowledge of warehousing and logistics processes

Responsibilities:

– Pick, pack, and load/unload all ingoing/outgoing freight accurately

– Follow Multotec procedures for order preparation and ensure orders are fit for transport

– Complete all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner

– Communicate quality and safety issues to Warehouse Supervisor for investigation

– Work collaboratively with team members or autonomously as needed

– Provide assistance to other areas of the warehouse or business when requested

Demonstrated physical fitness and capability for manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving goods.

Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory control software.

Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or equivalent

– Valid LF truck license

– 3 years of experience in warehousing or logistics
