Mpower is a well-established, successful, accredited not-for-profit community based organisation servicing South West Victoria. Mpower has been providing a range of services to individuals and families for 50 years. Vast growth over the last five years, including the introductions of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and expansion of community sector services has allowed us to develop responsive and complimentary services in our local community.

About the Role

Mpower delivers therapy services through a supportive, multidisciplinary key-worker model, working across early childhood and school-aged programs. Our teams include Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Early Childhood Educators, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Assistants.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking Occupational Therapists to join our team in Warrnambool, Hamilton or Portland.

In this role, you will support children with disability or developmental delay by delivering evidence-based occupational therapy and working closely with families, carers and educators to build capacity and achieve meaningful outcomes..

About you

You will be a qualified, AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist, who is motivated and energetic, and who wants to make a real difference to the lives of children and their families. You will bring:

  • A qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • Interest or experience in paediatric, community or disability settings
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A team-focused approach and willingness to work within a multidisciplinary model
  • Commitment to person-centred, evidence-based practice.
