The Role
Join a well-coordinated care team supporting a long-term NDIS participant who requires a friendly, young female support worker to assist in community access care. You’ll provide a mix of:
- Emotional support and companionship
- Personal care for Dementia Support
- Domestic assistance and community access
- Following strict guidelines outlined in care plan
Note: This role involves personal care for a female participant who has requested a female support worker and a male participant also needing personal care with dementia.
You’ll be great in this role if you are/have
- Sympathetic, empathetic and personable!
- NSW Driver Licence and your own insured vehicle
- Current Checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR
- Reliable availability in South Coast Area (Nowra, Berry, Gerringong)
Highly regarded
- Experience supporting clients with autism and dementia
- Comfortable with pets as our client has a fur member!
- Confidence with care plans, incident reporting and team communication
