Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, mobile crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield, a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop, and a Queensland operations office, we support major sites across NSW and QLD.

We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our finance team. This is an opportunity to join a growing national mining business and play an important role in supporting Mineco’s day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Accounts Receivable (AR): Process monthlyclaims, review site data, and follow up on outstanding debts.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Account reconciliations including credit cards, supplier compliance and assist with invoice and RCTI processing
• Payroll: Daily timesheet processing including matching to gate log in’s
• Office Support: General admin tasks, fleet management and providing leave relief to colleagues in the finance team.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a finance/accounting role with AP & AR in medium-high volume environments
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and accounting software packages
• Mining and/or contracts experience advantageous
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
