At Mind Matters, we recognise that senior psychologists bring a wealth of experience, diverse strengths and unique interests. We’re seeking a Clinical Psychologist with a minimum of eight years’ experience who is passionate about high-quality client care and interested in contributing to the growth and development of both clients and colleagues.

Importantly, this is not a one-size-fits-all role.

No previous private practice experience is required. We provide the support, systems and administrative infrastructure to help experienced clinicians transition confidently into private practice.

Mind Matters is an established psychology practice in Bondi Junction / Woollahra, home to a warm, collaborative team of six-year trained psychologists. We provide therapy and assessment services across the lifespan and take pride in thoughtfully matching clients with clinicians based on expertise, interests and preferred client populations.

Our practice has a strong reputation within the community, resulting in consistent demand for services and a large, varied referral base.

About the Role

This salaried position is available on a part-time or full-time basis (3-5 days per week).

Depending on your interests, strengths and experience, the role may include:

• Delivering evidence-based psychological therapy
• Clinical supervision of registrars and early career psychologists
• Team leadership and mentoring
• Group program development
• Training and workshop facilitation
• Recruitment involvement
• Participation in strategic initiatives within the practice
• Contributing to service development and innovation

About You

You will have:

• Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
• A minimum of eight years’ experience as a psychologist
• Accredited postgraduate Masters or Doctorate in Psychology
• Board-approved supervisor status, or an interest in becoming a supervisor
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong clinical judgement and commitment to evidence-based practice
• A warm, non-judgemental and client-centred approach
• A collaborative style and desire to contribute to a positive team culture
